Investigating possible applications of modern AI within UI/UX design

With the rising demand to always improve the working process and make life more flexible, artificial intelligence is getting into different spheres of life. Therefore, this thesis aimed to explore the application of AI in UI/UX design. The main point was to identify the benefits of AI agents for designers and assess the level of capabilities of the tools to replace professionals. The paper undertook a literature review and case study analyses. In the result, three AI-powered design tools, WireGen.ai, Framer AI and Uizard Autodesigner, were evaluated and compared. Analyses of each tool formed a discussion and findings. Comparing each tool based on the literature review and certain investigating points, was found that existing modern AI-powered tools for interface design are not able to replace UI/UX designers. However, despite their cons, they could be effective depending on the purpose of their application.
